OBJECTIVES

Here are the social and artistic premises that move our company:

SOCIAL OBJECTIVE

To support cultural change in Colombia through films that highlight the values of honest work, personal ethics, self-improvement, respect and tolerance. Thus exalting our cultural and creative values, showing the world the great positive talent that exists in Colombia.

ARTISTIC OBJECTIVE

To create content that inspires the audience. Content that is fun, dynamic and inherently irreverent, that generates questions and critical thinking. Content characterised by aesthetic innovation, wit and technical rigor, with narratives that revolve around games of temporality, magical realism, surrealism and minimalism. Constantly take inspiration from the 50s, 80s and 90s, generating a recognisable author's signature, "retro-futuristic, gothic and tropical". Crafting content that can be inserted in different markets, taking our stories all around the world.

BUSINESS OBJECTIVE

To promote the construction, growth and sustainability of the audiovisual industry in Cali and the country. Offering new job opportunities to the population and especially to the incredible artistic talents that we have.

GALA DEL SOL

Gala del Sol (Natalia Hermida) es una directora de cine colombo-española, guionista y consultora creativa para proyectos narrativos nacida en 1996, cuyas historias giran en torno al realismo fantástico y tienen una estética punk con un toque tropical. Fue finalista en los Student Academy Awards con su cortometraje Pasajeros en trance (2018), su tesis de Chapman University, convirtiéndose en la segunda colombiana en ser nominada en la historia de estos premios. Llueve sobre Babel (2024) es su primer largometraje como directora.

PRODUCER

ANDRÉS HERMIDA

Andres Hermida is a Colombian filmmaker and actor based between Savannah, Georgia and Cali, Colombia. He’s graduated with a BFA in film production from SCAD (Savannah College of Art and Design). His acting career began at age 13 with the short film KA (2013) directed by his sister Gala del Sol. He’s been involved with over 50 productions since. His passion for telling stories has led to commit to a career now over a decade long as a writer, producer and director. His hope is to promote foreign investment in the Colombian film industries, generating international co-productions to have Latinx stories seen all over the globe.
